Description
Do you have a student who exclaims, “It’s not fair!” and then falls on the floor in a meltdown? This social skills story (i.e., social narrative) will give you just the tool you need to help your students with autism and related disabilities (or typical young students) understand:
- what fair means,
- how to handle situations they think are unfair,
- and help them cope with those big feelings as well.
Plus it allows for customizations to help you make it fit your specific students’ needs.
**Do Not Purchase This If you are a member of the Special Educator Academy as it is Included in your membership**
This story uses a concrete metaphor of a student needing a bandaid to explain the concept of fairness. If one student hurt their knee, every student doesn’t need a bandaid. And it provides coping strategies for the student if they feel that their treatment wasn’t fair, including advocating for themselves by asking the teacher for assistance.
