Description
This Christmas set can be used with the Preschool*Elementary Morning Meeting Starter Kit or on its own.
This Christmas set provides all the visual supports you need for 5 songs and rhymes related to Christmas. The 12 Days of Christmas is a familiar carol. Runners on the Sled is sung to the tune of Wheels on the Bus. Reindeer Pokey is sung to the tune of Hokey Pokey. S-A-N-T-A is sung to the tune of B-I-N-G-O.
WHO IS IT FOR?
This kit is designed for preschoolers, early kindergarten, or students who are in early elementary special education and need additional work on communication and group skills.
You can use the visual supports during morning meeting (or other group activities). The visuals are designed to create opportunities for communication, choice making, counting, identifying names and/or pictures, comprehension, and meaningful participation. In addition it contains the visuals needed to add these activities to a choice board for students to choose which song to sing.
WHAT’S INCLUDED

–A visual for each song or rhyme in this set for students to choose which to sing or read next. I also included some common Christmas songs that might be sung at this time of year.

——-Storyboard and visuals to print for students to add to the story board
*Reindeer Pokey
——-This follows the tune and motions of the Hokey Pokey but uses antlers, hooves, etc. The lyrics / motions and visuals of the motions are included.
*12 Days of Christmas
——-Visuals to participate and sequence the elements of the song
*Runners on the Sleigh
——-Sung to the tune of Wheels on the Bus, this original song has visuals for each verse as well as the words of the song
*S-A-N-T-A Was His Name-O
——-Words to the song and directions
——-A set of visuals to make into a flip book to show the hand claps for the verses.
——-PowerPoint you can use to display on a projector or interactive whiteboard instead of printing the visuals
