This privacy policy was last changed on 5/28/18.  AutismClassroomResources.com and Reeve Autism Consulting, LLC are both located in Florida of the United States.

What Information Do We Collect?

We collect your name and email in our sign up form when you sign up to receive our email newsletter or other mailings.  This information is stored in Thrive Leads and ActiveCampaign.

When you purchase a Program via our website, we collect your name, email address, and billing address. This information, along with any passwords for accessing our programs, are stored in ActiveCampaign and AccessAlly.  Your credit card number is directly passed through to one of our credit card processors, Stripe or PayPal, and (at the most) we have access to only the last four digits of your credit card.

We collect non-identifiable personal information using “cookies.” A cookie is a small data file that a website can transfer to your hard drive through your browser. The cookie is then stored on your computer as an anonymous tag that identifies your computer, but not you. You can set your browser to notify you if cookies are received, or set up your browser to not accept cookies.

In particular, we may provide a limited amount of your information (such as sign-up date and some personal information like your email address) to Intercom, Inc. (“Intercom”) and utilize Intercom to collect data for analytics purposes when you visit our website or use our product. As a data processor acting on our behalf, Intercom analyzes your use of our website and/or product and tracks our relationship by way of cookies and similar technologies so that we can improve our service to you. We may also use Intercom as a medium for communications, either through email, or through messages within our product(s). When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

 If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.  This includes YouTube and Vimeo.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

We may collect some other personally identifying information about your transaction in a non-identifiable format and combine it with other non-identifiable information, to be analyzed only at an aggregate level for marketing purposes.

Our Facebook Page also uses ManyChat bots to communicate with those who sign up for updates about Lives and information about products and blog posts.  ManyChat collects information from your Facebook profile and you can view their privacy policy here: https://manychat.com/privacy.html.

How Do We Use Your Information?

We use your name and email to contact you about your Program and to send you occasional business announcements and updates. We use your billing address to process your transaction.

We use first-party and third-party cookies to manage your shopping cart and to compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so we can optimize our website and create a better user experience for you. We may use cookies via Google Analytics Advertising Features, ActiveCampaign, Facebook Advertising, and Pinterest Advertising, for remarketing, impression reporting, and interest reporting. Click here to opt-out of Google Analytics cookiesand here to adjust your Pinterest personalization settings. If you want to block cookies completely, you can disable them in your browser: ChromeFirefoxSafari, or Internet Explorer.

How Do You Unsubscribe?

If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, you can opt-out or unsubscribe by clicking on the link in any email we send to you. Note: if you opt-out of receiving the emails of a Program, it will be difficult for you to continue to participate.  In Many Chat you can opt out at any time by typing STOP in Facebook Messenger.

How Do We Protect Your Information?

We use various security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information, including hosting your data on a secure server and/or a third-party password-protected, secure service. Any third party secure service we use to host your data will keep your information confidential, will not sell or share your information, and will not contact you directly.

We use a secure, PCI-compliant payment processor (Stripe or PayPal) to process any credit card payments, as described above. If you use PayPal to pay for a purchase, they hold your credit card and/or bank information per their agreement with you. If your credit card number or expiration date is updated, your bank may update Stripe or PayPal automatically; we do not have control over any such updates.

We store your data including name, email, address, phone, and the last 4 digits of credit cards for purchases in third party password-protected secure services indefinitely unless you request that your data be deleted.  We keep all financial data as required by the IRS. If there is a dispute regarding privacy data, we will defer to U.S. law regarding the need for retaining your data.

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

We will also release your information as required by law or if necessary to protect our legal rights, to comply with a judicial proceeding or court order, to prevent threats to others or illegal activities, or to prevent abuse of AustismClassroomResources.com.

Circumstances may arise where we may decide to sell, buy, merge, or otherwise reorganize our business in the United States or elsewhere, or where we may decide to share, rent, buy, or sell business assets for the purpose of reorganizing, developing, or expanding our business. It is our policy to seek appropriate protection for information in these types of transactions. If the AustismClassroomResources.com assets or our entire company is acquired, then the lists of personally identifiable information and other contact information will likely be one of the assets acquired.

Information Regarding Children

This website is not directed to people who are under 13 years of age. We do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Please notify us at chris@autismclassroomresources.com  if you are a parent whose child has provided us with personally identifying information, and we will delete such information from our files.
