What Information Do We Collect?
We collect your name and email in our sign up form when you sign up to receive our email newsletter or other mailings. This information is stored in Thrive Leads and ActiveCampaign.
When you purchase a Program via our website, we collect your name, email address, and billing address. This information, along with any passwords for accessing our programs, are stored in ActiveCampaign and AccessAlly. Your credit card number is directly passed through to one of our credit card processors, Stripe or PayPal, and (at the most) we have access to only the last four digits of your credit card.
We collect non-identifiable personal information using “cookies.” A cookie is a small data file that a website can transfer to your hard drive through your browser. The cookie is then stored on your computer as an anonymous tag that identifies your computer, but not you. You can set your browser to notify you if cookies are received, or set up your browser to not accept cookies.
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. This includes YouTube and Vimeo.
We may collect some other personally identifying information about your transaction in a non-identifiable format and combine it with other non-identifiable information, to be analyzed only at an aggregate level for marketing purposes.
How Do We Use Your Information?
We use your name and email to contact you about your Program and to send you occasional business announcements and updates. We use your billing address to process your transaction.
How Do You Unsubscribe?
If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, you can opt-out or unsubscribe by clicking on the link in any email we send to you. Note: if you opt-out of receiving the emails of a Program, it will be difficult for you to continue to participate. In Many Chat you can opt out at any time by typing STOP in Facebook Messenger.
How Do We Protect Your Information?
We use various security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information, including hosting your data on a secure server and/or a third-party password-protected, secure service. Any third party secure service we use to host your data will keep your information confidential, will not sell or share your information, and will not contact you directly.
We use a secure, PCI-compliant payment processor (Stripe or PayPal) to process any credit card payments, as described above. If you use PayPal to pay for a purchase, they hold your credit card and/or bank information per their agreement with you. If your credit card number or expiration date is updated, your bank may update Stripe or PayPal automatically; we do not have control over any such updates.
We store your data including name, email, address, phone, and the last 4 digits of credit cards for purchases in third party password-protected secure services indefinitely unless you request that your data be deleted. We keep all financial data as required by the IRS. If there is a dispute regarding privacy data, we will defer to U.S. law regarding the need for retaining your data.
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
We will also release your information as required by law or if necessary to protect our legal rights, to comply with a judicial proceeding or court order, to prevent threats to others or illegal activities, or to prevent abuse of AustismClassroomResources.com.
Circumstances may arise where we may decide to sell, buy, merge, or otherwise reorganize our business in the United States or elsewhere, or where we may decide to share, rent, buy, or sell business assets for the purpose of reorganizing, developing, or expanding our business. It is our policy to seek appropriate protection for information in these types of transactions. If the AustismClassroomResources.com assets or our entire company is acquired, then the lists of personally identifiable information and other contact information will likely be one of the assets acquired.

Please notify us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are a parent whose child has provided us with personally identifying information, and we will delete such information from our files.
