  • Basic Expressive ID of Pictures

** Please note: Objects are not included in this packet. You will need to have the following objects to complete some of the ABA therapy activities and programs: 2 blocks, 2 toy cars, 2 shoes, 2 bowls, 2 cups, 2 spoons, shaker (Maraca, tambourine), hat, small ball, plastic container or can, comb, and drum.

❤️These ABA therapy activities will help you run smooth discrete trials in your classroom. Your students will flourish as they learn these skills.

Students with autism benefit from discrete trials training, but although this type of instruction is pretty routine, handing it off to paraprofessional staff can be difficult to assure it’s being implemented with fidelity.  This toolkit provides easy data collection and presentation materials that allows staff to present materials the same way each time to assure that students are receiving consistent instruction.

This discrete trials training setup is specifically designed to assure that materials are presented in a consistent manner to the student to avoid errors being made because of the order the materials were presented, where the materials were placed or how they were constructed.

To do this, the materials are simple and move from less distracters within them to more distracters (i.e., circles without borders to squares with black borders to stars and crayons that are completely the identified color but have different shadings).

NO PRINT OPTION: Finally the arrays can be used on a tablet or computer so that they don’t have to be printed.
