This bundle includes both the original print starter kit, one of the best sellers in the store. Plus it has a digital version with slides for PowerPointTM and Google SlidesTM . There are even response cards included in the digital set so you can combine technology and hands-on materials as needed to meet the needs of all of your students.

Circle time activities included:

  • Lesson Plan Swipe Sheets – grab all the information you need for your lesson plans from the handy swipe sheet for each activity.  Relevant core curriculum standards are included and objectives are provided for easy adaptation to your state standards.
  • Print & Digital Calendar Months – Calendar months are included with decorations for events related to that month. I included 2 versions of October and December to accommodate schools in which holiday materials are not allowed.
  • Print & Digital Calendar Dates – Calendar date cards to teach date/number identification as well as understanding of home and school. Both sets include 34 holiday visuals and special occasions (e.g., field day, special Olympics)
    • The print version includes 1 set of calendar numbers (1-31) with school buildings, 1 set of calendar numbers (1-31) with home and school.
    • The digital version includes ​​2 Visual Holding Pages (1 with matching visuals for placeholders and 1 blank)
    • 4 plain numeral sets, 10 seasonal and holiday picture number sets (ice cream, rocket, school bus, pumpkin, heart, car, rainbow, yellow leaf, 4-leaf clover and Christmas stocking)

  • Days of the Week – Digital & Print include Yesterday was, Today is and Tomorrow will be visuals with symbols, Days of the week with symbols to complete them and Days of the week in colored cards, black and white cards, and colored print cards for matching and sequencing.  Response cards for students to each find the day of the week and show the teacher are also included.
  • Morning Meeting Schedule – Digital and Print versions include 10 printable or moveable digital cards for each activity contained in the kit as well as class jobs so that students can predict the routine. The digital version has 2 slides (one titled Morning Meeting and one titled Circle Time)
  • How I Came to School – Digital and Print – Multiple print and digital cards of bus, van, walk, bike, and car and board titles / digital slides for choosing and counting how everyone came to school. Both versions allow for graphing if you start putting cards at the bottom of the page.
  • Who’s Here – 2 options of printable board titles or digital slides  for a Who’s Here board along with at home and at school visuals for students to check in
    • The digital version has a template for creating your own visuals with students’ pictures and names or choose from a variety of clip art students you can personalize with their names
  • Girls or Boys? –
    • Print: 8 boys and girls print cards for children to identify their gender, count the boys and girls in the class and graph to determine whether there are more boys or girls. The print version includes 2 options of headers for a choice board and graphing board.
    • Digital: Use digital moveable pieces for students to choose boy or girl or use their pictures from the who’s here board. Students can count the boys and girls and create a number sentence for the total.  The digital board also serves as a horizontal bar graph. A second board is included in the digital set to have students identify themselves by different characteristics (e.g., wearing sneakers, wearing red) and complete the same skills.
  • Communication / Choice Boards – Print and Digital versions include a song board for storing visuals of song choices1 and a story board and title for storing and presenting visuals to choose stories.
    • Print: includes 12 story choice pictures and 12 song choice pictures
    • Digital: includes 9 story choice pictures and 7 song choice pictures as moving pieces on the slides.
  • Story Supports – 
    • Print: Story sequencing pictures for The Little Red Hen and There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly
    • Digital: Story moving digital pieces and slides for There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly and Little Miss Muffet
  • Song Supports – 
    • Print: Visual Supports and 3 boards for 5 Little Monkeys, 5 Little Ducks and Wheels on the Bus
    • Digital: Slides and moveable sequencing pictures for 5 Little Ducks and Wheels on the Bus
  • How Do I Feel Today? 
    • Print: How Do I Feel Today board
    • Digital: a How Do I Feel Today slide with for students to use visuals of themselves (or the clips art from the Who’s Here Board) to share how they feel and then count / graph results. Print visuals for students to make choices are also provided
  • 5-Point Scale Self-Regulation Check in
    • Print: 3 versions of a 5-Point scale for students to mark their level
    • Digital: 1 slide of a 5-Point scale students can check in with their picture or write their name on the slide.  It also includes 12 moveable and printable coping strategies for bringing their number down to 1 or 2. This version also includes response cards for students to each identify their number.
  • Exercise Board – 
    • Print & Digital:  2 options for exercise boards and schedules with pictures of exercises
  • Weather – 
    • Print: 1 Simple weatherboard with weather cards
    • Digital: Students move the visuals to show temperature and conditions or can choose from printable pictures.. Also includes 2 types of response cards for students to each identify the weather simultaneously rather than taking turns.
  • An extra slide and video tutorial link for adding your own slides with the same background and headings. This is included in the PowerPoint of the file as well as the Google Slides version, but note that you will not be able to use the same font as the title in Google Slides. Directions for working with it in PowerPoint are included.
