Morning meeting special education kits are perfect for students with significant disabilities. These students benefit from morning meetings in their classroom. Unfortunately, many teachers may struggle to find materials that are fitting for their age (i.e., not preschool or kindergarten) while focusing on basic skills like calendars. Luckily, this toolkit of morning meeting activities is designed to structure morning meetings for these students with meaningful and engaging materials and visuals.
These morning meeting activities were specifically designed to have visual support to keep students engaged, while also providing age-respectful activities (e.g., songs, books). In addition, it contains the visuals needed to have a schedule for the routine of morning meetings so that the students can anticipate events and know if there are changes.
