This photographic book focuses on the things you might see at the beach / shore. The photos match identical photos. Vocabulary targeted include: fireworks, palm trees, lighthouse, rocks, waves, bird, sailboat, and sand.

This illustrated book focuses on common activities for summer vacation. It includes at-home activities as well as travel. Vocabulary targeted includes: flowers, pool, car, park, water (park), home, camp, city, airplane, beach.
โ๏ธ Going to Camp
This illustrated book targets verbs and depicts common activities that people do at camp or while camping. Verbs targeted include: cook, sleep, fish, sing, spray, swim, ride, hike. It also includes camp as a noun.
โ๏ธ Weโre Going to the Park
This illustrated book focuses common activities you might do at a park. Vocabulary targeted includes: tree, grill, playground, bike, picnic, marshmallows, and fountain. At the end of the book, students can choose the yes or no visual to answer โDo you like to go to the park?โ
Your students will love being able to read these books when they are behind grade level. These adapted books are written at approximately the 2nd grade level but the topics and content are perfect for any age.
Implementing these interactive books in your classroom is EASY!ย Students will participate in reading the book and then matching the pictures on the page to the correct place in the sentences, or finding the word that completes the sentence, or both!
