Classroom Setup Bundle for Middle & High School Special Education Classrooms

Set Up a Secondary Special Education Classroom That Works—Without Starting from Scratch

Everything you need to create structure, routine, and teamwork for your self-contained or resource room—without the overwhelm.

Setting up a special education classroom for older students shouldn’t feel like starting from zero every time.

You’re scrambling to create visuals, organize staff, manage behavior systems, and build routines—on top of planning instruction.

It’s exhausting, stressful, and sometimes feels like you’re the only one trying to hold everything together.

Students with complex needs deserve a structured, respectful learning environment that supports their growth—and so do the educators guiding them.

It’s no wonder you feel maxed out trying to build a classroom from scratch. With so many moving parts—IEPs, visuals, staff coordination, and behavior supports—it’s easy to feel overwhelmed before the school year even begins.

That’s why I created the Secondary Special Education Classroom Setup Bundle.

This all-in-one toolkit is designed specifically for secondary teachers in self-contained or resource settings who want a structured, functional classroom—without spending hours reinventing the wheel.

Here's what special educators are saying about this bundle!

Thanks” –Brends S

Ready to get started?

Hey there! I'm Chris, and I help special educators provide the best education for their students.

I’m the director and founder of Autism Classroom Resources.  And for over 25 years in a variety of teaching roles, I’ve loved watching special ed staff’s faces light up when they connect with a student or solve a problem in the classroom.

Currently I get to support special ed professionals in reaching their students with online courses in the Special Educator Academy, resources that save them planning time through Autism Classroom Resources, and free resources they downloaded from the free Resource Library.

With a doctorate in psychology from SUNY Stony Brook and as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral, I have spent the last 30 years working with a wide variety of special education programs as a behavior specialist, an administrator, university faculty, and primarily as a trainer and consultant.

I’ve written academic journal articles and co-authored several books for special education teachers including Taming the Data Monster and Setting Up Classroom Spaces for Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
